Poverty Gulch

Poverty Gulch
Poverty Gulch (42.3 K)

The corner module directly in front of you is Poverty Gulch, owned by Rick Shumpert.  Originally constructed by Tom Bateman, this module is based on the Gold King Mine in Cripple Creek, Colorado, where gold was first found.  The large trestle is built from scratch using hundreds of pieces of strip wood, based on old photographs of the original.  The mine buildings are a mixture of kits and built from scratch.  Be sure to read the sign on the module for more historical information.
